More info on www.aqis.gov.au (be warned, it's a very 'difficult' site, bit hard to find what you want etc).

Dogs, cats and horses in the main. Things like tortoises and other reptiles are a no-no. You can bring in castrated hamsters for laboratory purposes if you like.
