Weve closed our HSBC account down now, as they only have 1 atm in SA, and you get charged for using other atm's, now we are with Bank SA who have branches all over SA and theres no need to use other atm's.

You can withdraw cash from any post office free of charge though. I didn't know that until I met with my account Manager

And from just about any supermarket check-out. Who on earth needs ATMs? I've only ever use them half a dozen times - and twice they swallowed my card and caused immense problems!

Well HSBC have just excelled themselves again, 18 days to transfer funds! Nobody knows anything when you contact them. They just pass the query on saying it's the receiving bank.
Try HIFX or Ozforex - much quicker
