ACE's Home Build with In Vogue

Hello All,
The holes are now filled in and the walls look as good as new.
I am loving this stage of the project; we have been looking at all finishing products and services that need to be organised. I will be going to order the balcony tiles after work this evening and dropping off some plans for quotes on blinds. We really like the Sheerfold style of blinds for the upper level and perhaps Doubleview for the lower level. We have decided on timber floors but we are torn between Marri and Blackbutt for the stairs and upper level. Downstairs we will most likely tile the entrance and the games room and put either carpet or cork in the bedrooms, gym and theatre room.
Our biggest problem and probably our biggest expense is going to be landscaping. We are hoping that the good people of WA will come up with some recommendations for any good landscaping companies that they or anyone they know has experience of. We are looking for a company to do a complete project including solar heated pool installation, driveway, alfresco paving, limestone wall the lot. We are based in Dawesville which in the past would have limited our options but in the current climate many Perth companies are now willing to come down this far at no extra charge (I know this from my timber flooring and blinds research).
I would also be interested to know the names (by pm of course) of companies to avoid.
Thanks
ACE

I could only find S & S Landscaping in Parkerville. Do you have the number for Amari Landscapes?
Cheers

Latest minor hiccup-we got an urgent call from one of the builders suppliers regarding our granite benchtops apparently the latest shipment of granite is sub standard so they are unwilling to install it in our house. They have offered us Q-stone but we looked at all the options during our pre-start period and chose granite over Q-stone so it would feel like we were settling for second best. It will be six weeks until the next (hopefully better quality) shipment comes through which is cutting it a bit fine. I'll give our supervisor a call and let you know the outcome.

Good news, our supervisor has told us that the benchtops can be installed in the last two weeks of construction so we should be OK with a 6 week delay on the granite.
Went up to the house this evening, very pleased to see all lower floor ceiling wiring is in and ceilings are now complete.

The bathroom fans are in and the ceiling joint plastering is complete. The timber for the cabinetry and the doors have arrived on site, won't be long till lock up.

All external doors are on and secured, the tilers are coming next week so we are still on schedule for a May finish. We are still running around trying to organise all our post handover trades. I will be picking up the balcony tiles on Tuesday and the bathroom tiles soon after that.
