Thats what I thought! But we gave ourselves a budget on spending limits over here so that we aren't using much needed house buying money. And are finding it quite difficult getting everything we need and managing financially. If you've got loads of money to spend then thats great, otherwise if you're paying to ship stuff then you may aswell stick bits in that are gonna be useful.
Once you've paid your shipping fees then your flights, then bought a car, then payed out to get set up over here....it all adds up and eats away at your house profit.

Tassimo tea and coffee discs. I brought my Tassimo machine but cant find any discs for it ( It makes the best cup of tea) I live in hope and check the web daily for updates and I am sure OZ will get it soon

Nothing, honestly, nothing. It's all here and there is a substitute to be found for anything that is different ... sometimes better if an open mind can be kept.

I didn't grab any bottles of JD at duty-free so I suppose 5 litres of that wouldn't have been wasted.

But seriously, I missed marmite but found it at super iga, walkers crisps (cheese and onion) but OH found a shop in brisvegas that sells 'em, thorntons choccy, now found in big w. That was it - sorted. Makes me laugh when I read on here about not being able to get this and that, expensive yadda, yadda, yadda....... It's all out there if you go and look. Having said that, OH bemoans the lack of matalan and next!! Can't find decent bra's..any ideas?

There's a shop called BNT. There's one at Stockland Burleigh and I think there's one at Pac Fair. Lovely stuff, really well made, great staff and very well trained in measuring.

A Dyson, they are expensive here even for the basic model
