3 weeks for Telstra - Database problems!

Its taken a ridiculous 3 weeks for Telstra to finally connect my phone. Today it rings!! Woo-Hoo!!!!
House is brand new and the problem was database issue....
I gave them the postal address of 10B instead or Unit 3. That took 3 weeks to resolve with daily calls on my part. With scares of having to dig the road up, no broadband etc etc....
( I know I am not the only one with this issue - even a bloke in the Bankwest callcenter today knew off the issue)
My advice -
- Make sure when you connect any service, give them what the database says on your deeds as to what the settlement agent refers to. Dont do what i did and give them what it says on your postal box - heaven forbid that you may want to recieve mail from them.
