It's just reached $4 a gallon at my 2 local stations. Guess that's the Jeep parked for running around town, the truck gets better mileage.

It's weird, one place went up from $3.83 to $3.89 while another went from $3.83 down to $3.75

BJ's is still the cheapest at $3.71.

Summer gas vs winter gas blame the EPA (Gov't), due to local regulations. CA and urban cities are much worse.

That is quite frankly b0llocks - the USA has some of the lowest taxation going of a non-communist/socialist nation going. You're experiencing oil price fluctuation and nothing else. Look at the $ exchange rate to EUR & GBP as well as dated Brent oil (currently around $125/bbl) as well as the futures market. Blame the Israeli-Iranian tensions if you want, as that is what has driven price up recently.

Futures market seems to play a BIG part. Me, not so much a fan of this.
