I believe there is some kind of DNA test you can get for dogs to find out exactly what breeds they are a mix of. I think I saw it on tv or possibly read about it, but it may be worth googling to see...

Last year I shipped 2 cats and one dog from Pennsylvania to Heathrow. Total weight of all 3 including the weight of their carriers was probably just over 70lbs and I paid $1900.
