Sorry to hear of your disappointment.

Did they offer to take you on as anything other than Int, eg seaman officer ??

It might be worth asking if they didn't offer? You may have other skills...

Consider that the RAN is only about 15,000 strong and isn't trying to be a member of "Team America - World Police" like Blair is, and the deployments begin to make sense. Its not like they need to...

I gave my notice last September and will be outside quite soon. I got fed up with all the constant change and turmoil within the RN and the feeling that the top brass weren't exactly honest with us...
