Not sure what the knitted cream polo/tartan skirt would look like! Sometimes women look good when they dress slightly conservatively - even staidly - especially if they have the figure and natural...

Suits...

I remember having all these suits made about 15-20 years ago and the bastard things barely get used apart from interviews - and even then I only wear one if I think the company fancies...

Interesting...some of the Melbourne CBD women are very well dressed without looking too gauche. Naturally there is a sliding scale!

I tihnk that is partly a fashion cycle. Women never did all that fake tan/eyelashes 10 years ago. It also depends on the demographic - I find inner city professional women in Melbourne do that less...

Yes, it depends on industry and company to be honest..and the developer/contractor. As an IT contractor I'd expect you'd be fairly blase about all this.
