Emaar still act like they own the 'freehold' properties in their developments - they want property owners to shell out 5,000 for a 'no objection certificate' if the owner want to sell his/her...

Personal loans are secured by a salary transfer and end of service benefits - hence relatively lower interest rates - 10-12%. Citi/HSBC offer unsecured loans - thinks it's 22-24% p.a......sub prime...

Then it would apply to contracts after the law is passed. The existing contracts all provide 1 year warranty.

Let some of the developers atleast honour existing contracts - provide compensation in...
