We had 10 times the mould problem in Brisbane than we do here and here we live in a 400 year old house.
As for bugs, nothing to compare apart from the odd fly.

Talking of cars, we bought the rustiest car I have ever owned back when I was young and stupid, a Ford Falcon in Geelong. Who knew you could fill holes with papier mache. :D

Your story is so similar to mine, went to Australia at 18 months and came back at 9 for a year or so and then again at about 14 and finished my schooling over there. All I wanted to do was get back...

Its hard for me because I love Australia but I just dont belong there or indeed feel comfortable there.
