Internal Saudi flights are a nightmare for people watching videos on their phones loudly with no headphones. And I mean loud.
The problem is that the filipino staff don't have the balls to tell...

But there were eyewitness accounts in the article of people who were on the plane describing that the kid was left to run riot.

So it is fair to make judgements based on that.

Fair enough, but I'm hoping you'd physically restrain your child to stop him/her annoying everyone else. Which is what the parent in this case didn't do. Noise I can accept that you can't control....

A bit OTT surely, not you but the guy in front. Is a nut allergy really that dangerous that you can be done over within a metre of the things???

Furthermore, if someone's kid was sitting on the top of my seat, I would be demanding the parent fix the kid, and if they failed to do that, demand the staff sort it out.

No excuses. IMO the parents totally to blame. I've got two kids, done many flights together. My kids would have got a ****ing slap for ever behaving like that, and a big telling off. My Mrs and me...
