Midnight-ish last night between Portimao and Moncarapacho we passed just 6 cars and 4 of them were GNR cars manning gantries, the tolls can't be making a lot so far!

For info:

Our transponder never beeps, but our journeys ARE starting to show on the Via Verde website (about 5 days after we drive under), AND they are showing as free thanks to the positive...

Definately activated it via MB. First time it was stuck onto the windshield with the sticker. As it didn't beep we removed it and held it against the windshield in the middle and it still didn't...

Wife used ours again today on way to airport and her companion held it right up in the middle of the windshield - still no beeps.

Would I be right in saying that even if the transponder doesn't...
