Re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London
YAY!🎉🎉🎉
Decision made 25th June (Day before my birthday) and CoPR arrived in post today the 27th June!
I've not been on the forum because we hit a few hiccups these last few months. I thought it was going to be rejected 😱 scary!
but it's all turned out great in the end.
We are so excited.
A couple of questions ......I noticed my name, I'm the sponsor was wrong on applicants CoPR they've got my maiden name. How do I let them know of this error?
Also it's given us 12 months to land. I thought we would have to land before medical ran out, which would be in Aug? I'm hoping this isn't an error. We need some extra time to sort everything out. We put our plans on hold for the last 6 months because of everything going on.
Since I sent our application off in April last year two of our non-dependant (British and Canadian nationality) children here in the UK have had babies. They are settled and staying in the UK but do I need to notify CIC about the grand babies?

On the second page of the CoPR, what date does it show under the APPLICATION DETAILS section, specifically the 'Valid to:' date? This is the date before which you must land and declare PR. Yes, it is normally one year from the date of your medical, but CIC have absolute discretion and sometimes provide a different and later date. Whatever the date in this field, it can be taken as 'gospel'.
Nope

Re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London
I applied for spousal visa in Toronto recently under a UK lawyer's advice.
Toronto VFS office refused my original documents other than my passport.
They said Sheffield would understand.
Anyone have any experience in this area?
My lawyer asked that I send my original marriage certificate to my husband in the UK so he may include it when he is asked to send his information in.
I am new and really would appreciate any help with this. I apologize if this msg is in the wrong spot but I'm new to forums, technology, etc.

It says valid to 19th June 2019
and under medical details it says survallance code 1 and valid to 19th June 2019
there is something else Hurlabrick. It says in bold "DEPENDANTS INFORMATION Have you any other dependants other than those listed below?" It is blank. We will be emigrating with our son he has UK and CAD nationality (also CAD passport) should his details have been there? Or is something the emigration officer fills in?
