Default License for a Mechanical Engineering ???

Hi all,
i am moving to Oz in august and my skills were assessed as a mechanical engineer 2126-11. I beleive that Engineers Australia's assessment was for immigration purpose only. i want to ask which licensing body should i contact once i reach australia to get my professional license?

Nadir,
You contact Engineers Australia to get professional status. If you have CEng status in the UK then you can get Professional Engineer status with Engineers Australia without any problems.
