Default licence for chippies

does anyone know the details of this licence needed to work in oz as a chippy. Also are 110 v tools useless there .

I don't know the licencing details to be honest, I've struggled to find much info out. I know you have to do some kind of course but that's about all I know.

You'd need to take your transformer if you're using 110v as it's all 240v - I'm speaking as a chippies wife so if I'm not making sense it's because I don't know what I'm talking about

Cheers Wendy, he's put a fair bit of info on here but it's all double dutch to me Me still no understandey - I can be quite simple at times

I know in SA you don't need a licence to be a carpenter or joiner unless you are a contractor or supervisor. I think it's the same up there - but would have to have a proper read. If I make any sense of it, I'll let you know

Lol, well I know you need a licence unless you work under someone elses - talk about confusing
