Default Jobs for Mig Welders

Hi, My husband is a MIG Welder and we are looking to emigrate to Canada (Alberta - either Edmonton or Calgary). Can anyone advise the best way forward. We where considering using WBC but they are very expensive. Does anyone know of anywhere who are looking for Welders. We really want to get things moving but don't know where to start

Some forum members who belong to the skilled trades have received good service from a recruitment agency called Atkins West in Calgary.

I'm presuming a MIG Welder isn't just a very specialised welder who only repairs and assembles former Soviet aircraft?

Lol. MIG = Metal Inert Gas. Also called SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) or wire feed welding. One of if not the most common form of welding these days.

Thank you for explaining, I didn't know that.
