Default How to become a DRIVER in Western Australia

Hello

My OH is in need to find a job as driver once we move to Oz. He can drive taxis, bus or trucks.
Of course i understand he will have to convert his current licence, but assuming this is done what are the steps or procedures to follow to become a public driver. Shall we contact the employers directly or this goes thru the state govt...
He may as well be interested to be a train driver if possible.

Please help
