Move from London to USA in Family 2B Category
Hi everyone
Just that I drop by to introduce myself.
I only received discovered this forum and wish I found it earlier. I’m so amazed at the volume and quality of information and experiences you’ve all shared. It’s given me a lot more confidence about the exciting and at the same time daunting US visa process and general living in the US.
I currently live in London. My visa application to move to the USA is in the Family Based Green Card Category. My Priority Date became current this month (October 2010) and have now started processing paperwork.
If all goes well I will probably be moving to Fredericksburg, Virginia, in the Washington DC metro area.
I’ve noticed in the USA meet up threads that some of you in the Virginia/Washington DC area so hope to connect with you soon for tips and advice as the time to make the big move draws nearer.

I'm a few hours further north in New Jersey but I love making a trip to DC...there's so much to see and do. Quite a few of our members who post in the US Forums live in that area so hopefully you'll get to meet up with one or two.
