Hi All - Thinking about moving back to the UK
First time on here took me 20 minutes to find where to write! I'm a Brit living in VA but thinking about going back. Any hints for me?

We've got a few people like yourself who are thinking of moving back to the UK, so pop over to our Moving Back to the UK forum and say hi and read through some of the other posts there, you will pick up lots of tips and stuff.

I don't half envy you! (Although I'd have a terrible time leaving the horse behind myself...
No doubt, however, if you do move back, you'll find someone to love it as much as you do).
The ‘Moving Back to the UK’ forum that Sue recommended has people who are not only in the process of doing it, but some who already have done, and I'm certain they'd be willing and able to help in any way they could.

Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.

A big decision to make but it's incredible how many folks return as you will see when you check in to the moving back to the UK forum. There are many like yourself who have either returned or are in the process of returning. They are a great bunch who are most helpful with useful information, especially any of the red tape stuff.
Apart from that I just wanted to say welcome to BE from me and good luck with all your plans
