Hi all,

I am Kevin and I currently serve the British Army and her majesty Queen. I have been in for almost 12 years now. I was born in Fiji but mixed race i.e. Chinese, Rotuman and Fijian. Now a British Citizen. I have always wanted to be in the Army but been in the UK is far from home and cost of travelling to see family is too expensive.

Anyways I saw an opportunity offered by the ADF for lateral transfers. I submitted an expression of interest 3 days ago and I would appreciate it a lot if someone could give me more information on the process and duration of the transfer. I see that there are a lot of jobs on the ADF website and I believe I am eligible both in rank and trade.

Any help would be much appreciated.

You'll have to help me out a little bit here. ADF is...... Australian Defence Force? or something else?
