Hello from a Canadian wannabe :)
Hi everyone! I've been dipping in and out of the forums for a couple of years now but only just registered because my husband and I are now getting more and more serious about our future plans to move to Canada.
Although we're both British, we've lived in the Algarve, Portugal since we were kids. We both fell in love with Canada a few years ago after spending three weeks there in winter 2009 (Alberta and British Columbia). We've been talking about moving there ever since, but only recently our talk has become more serious. We've returned once since then, where we visited Ontario and Quebec. But we think our hearts lie in the west - although we won't rule anywhere out just yet!
Anyway enough of my ramblings! I just wanted to say hi!

Hello and welcome to the forum 
Best place for you to look at is the Canada section of the forum. There's plenty of information re immigration and a lot more, and the Canadian residents will help,you out with any questions I'm sure.
I think you should be able to find the Canada forums ok but, if you get stuck, just shout and someone will help you out.

Thank you so much bakedbean. I've found the Canada section... I've spent quite a lot of time on there this morning lol! It's a treasure trove of useful information. Love it
