EA have issues right now. Last year they paid out $20M in settlements. These settlements were basically to settle cases regarding bad work ethics (demanding hours beyond the law, no actual pay fror those hours).
big company, nice benefits, bad ethics, none standard.

Noticed the thread took an odd turn for a while though, didn't know "american tarts" could provoke such a timely discussion

if you'd like to try Activision too.. you could get on with them as an intern in the UK and transfer out. Better working ethos and they won't screw you over.... oh.. and I work for them, well for Neversoft (owned by them) anyways.
