I met a lady in the car park today that I hadn't seen for a few months. They've been getting the real run around from their company on green card applications, despite it all being spelt out in their contract....basically the company had had so many folk leaving right after getting GC's that they slammed the brakes on all the outstanding applications.
Anyway, she looked about a decade younger, seriously. I know her well enough for my opening line to be " hey, you're looking great...have you had a facelift?". The answer was " no, but I feel like I could have...we finally got our green cards last week and I've been walking on air ever since"
So hang in here Nicky, it'll come good in end. And when it does, think of the money you'll be saving on a facelift. If you needed one. Which I'm sure you don't .

I'm from Yorkshire too, so not easily insulted. Reminds me of when I said to someone with alopecia "you're only jealous because you haven't gone any... Tinsel, not hair". Doh!
