Oh yes, the only thing I can think of that would be more fun than commuting to work in the cold everyday in a Jeep Wrangler is to sledgehammer toothpicks under my fingernails while dousing my testicles in a jar of sulphuric acid.

I wonder why the OP's work colleague is selling it?
LOL the right words just flow out dont they. Pure genius.

2 things bother me - first its a jeep and second the soft top - not sure how it would cope with a Chicago winter.

Any comments appreciated
Excellent fun! Get the 6 cylinder, not the wimpy 2.5L 4 cyl!

I got on last spring & love it. Drove it with the roof off most of the time from may - october. I wouldnt recommend drving it 40 miles each way to work though. Costs a fortune in gas, luckily I dont have far to drive to work.
Maintanace is pretty expensive too, just had a 60K service, & was around $500.

A mate of mine back home had one of the old landrover soft tops and that thing was cold as f**k in the winter and it took a decade to warm up. I'd get the guy to drive you round on a cold day to check the heating out.

Women putting make up on while driving is nothing new.

I swear this is true:
There used to be a good looking woman in yellow convertable fiat coupe on the M40 around Banbury that would drive slowly, very slowly past truck drivers with her skirt round her waist, panties around her knees and she'd be playing with herself while looking up at the drivers..sometimes using a vibrator.

Rumour had it she did it on her way home from work around 6 pm every night. All the truck drivers CB radio's would be buzzing about it.
