When to submit forms 1040-C, I-407 and 8854
My wife and I are US Permanent Residents (since 2005) and are planning to return to the UK. I have a question about the timing for submitting these three forms: 1040-C, I-407, 8854. Must all three of these be submitted prior to departure from the US, or can any of them be submitted once back in the UK? If so, which ones can be submitted later … and how much later?
