I hear you! I laid off the SoCo for years after a terrible and embarrassing experience with the 100 proof stuff! Of course I eventually weaned myself back to it but I really do save that stuff for when the world seems like it's endiing (not that often).

For my regular everyday tipple it's usually red wine or a nice glass of chilled Kendall Jackson chardonnay. ooh me mouf's watering just thinking about it

Beer, has anyone tried Samuel Adams Rustic Saison ? it reminds me of a British beer but I can't quite work out which one. Very hoppy with quite a distinct taste ... now I need you to all run out and try some so I can get opinions

Red wine, or if I'm somewhere exotic and they're cheap (or even better free) cocktails, White Russians or anything with coconut, cream etc

Then...when I'm pi**ed, I'll drink ANYTHING!
