I vastly prefer Liverpool. Mancunians seem perpetually sour, possibly because the Liverpudlians have stolen everything? Liverpool is also smaller. I know where I'd live.

Doesn't help that I'm a Smiths fan so when I see a place or street Morrissey has mentioned I think "Manchester....so much to answer for."
