What car?
So, taking my next poll from the discussion of my last poll again:
What do we ex-pats tend to drive? ...and why don't I just get it over with and invite you all to tell me why the categories in my poll are wrong for starters, eh? :) |
...and before you all tell me what an idiot I am (because I know that already!) I know that many of the "European" brands are owned by the big "Domestic" brands, and I know that many "Japanese" cars are more domestic than a Ford, but what the hell, they're categories that kind of work!
:) |
...and for those of you with two or more cars... get over it! Just pick one already!
|
I drive my husband's Caprice Classic. The windows don't wind down, the rear doors are buggers to open, the radio doesn't work and it's crap in the snow.
I love it!:p |

I mean petrol!!!!!!!!! |

We bought a used Plymouth Grand Voyager Rally(which as far as I can gather is essentially a Chrysler). It was a repo and it seems we got a really great deal.
We have four kids and get a lot of family visitors so the space is great for us. Plus, when I was furniture shopping it was invaluable. I took out the seats and managed to get a king size bed and two twin beds in it, and there was my husband saying I'd have to get them delivered :D So far, apart from the normal maintenance things it's been great. |

Originally posted by RoB1833 I've got a Ford Escort, not the most exotic thing to drive, but it's got more gadgets than anything I drove back home. Rob, did you see "Pimp My Ride" today on MTV, the kid was driving a cut and shut Escort? Or is it just me that watches PMR? |

Any excuse to post a pic - I'm the only exotic so far...
:D Pat |
Nice-looking car Pat!
As for me, I'm more than happy with my VW Bug - nice little mover and perfect for around here! :D It doesn't guzzle the gas like all these big cars and trucks do - very fuel efficient. Hubby enjoys driving it too, on the odd occasion I let him!! |
An old Dodge Grand Caravan, drivers door is rusted through, rear wiper / demister doesnt work, heat decided to work just as the snow melted, seats about 20 plus dogs, ohhh and doesnt do much more than 40 mph so is very frugal on gas.
time for a new(er) car methinks Jan |
