Default Weetabix

Well I had thought of bringing a huge 72 bixes box over in the case because once there it will not be going back!!! And it will leave room for lots of other stuff for the return journey, there is always stuff I like to take back, shame I cant take Taco Bell!!!
I LOVE Taco Bell!!! There used to a Taco Bell in Earls Court but it made way for Nandos which is just as lovely but I still miss Taco Bell.
So Teabags, Weetabix and several other things will be brought and dumped at rellies homes when we leave.

Thanks for the info though. You never know when you have a hankering for something from the motherland so I may be asking where the stores are in Dallas.

And earmark them for if and when we move out permanently in a couple of years.

Cheers,

Allison

Yosser why are you buying Weetabix at the Brit store when they have it in our local Target??

It's with all the other cereals, at the fridge end

LAL - I am in Dallas and I buy weetabix at our local Super Target. It is the organic version, I don't know which type your baby eats but it tastes the same as the organic one back in the UK.

I've just looked at the box, it is made in Canada and I believe it is about $3.69 for a box of 24.

We get Organic Weetabix from one of ourlocal supermarkets, Albertsons. I agree with Ben's comments, it seems to break into bigger flakes than the UK variety. I've just returned from a week's visit to the UK and had some over there. I can taste a difference, I prefer the UK stuff to be honest.
I agree, the "organic" version is not the same as the UK version. But it seems very hard to get the UK version where I live Dead easy though to get the slightly horrible organic version.

But the organic version is the same here as the Organic version in the UK.

My kids like it but with a baby it would probably make a difference.

This is definitely the option I would suggest. It's quite light, really doesn't take up that much space, and no more worries. mine were also Weetabix-only sprogs. At $3.50 for 24, they've learned to like other stuff

Hey! I live in Florida and have seen Weetabix in every Publix supermarket I have been in. Also, have seen the organic version in my local health food store!

Can't believe you moved 3,000 miles to eat swedes. Besides, don't you think this sort of information is a bit personal?

LOL, I have just spat tea on the computer screen now!

I can always tell when hubby has been in a long meeting - all we get is the noise and smell once he gets home!

Now where did pronouncing it "tarchay" come from? I've heard a few people, Brits and Americans say it like that. I think it's great, it winds the missus up no end when I say it!

DaveC, when I heard my wife call it "Tarchay" it cracked me up, she said its just sounds posher for us commoners that have to shop there
