You could move to Oregon. We only pay every other year here.
Same in Mass...but they make up for it when you do...that and getting the plate in the first place

you suck....and your vanity plates are dirt cheap!!

Bit like that up in Maine, so cheap that nearly everyone has one that it's hard to find a decent one now....down in Mass, can get what you want as it's so pricey and so much hassle....do wonder why people bother getting rubbish ones that you can't figure out for the money though

lol, I know, some of them are so personal that the owner is the only one who 'gets' it. My dad's were like that.. but get this.. DH got a 'collectable' car a couple of years ago and hunted down a combination of letters/numbers that would get him a very 'cool' custom plate. He swears that it adds $1000 to the value of the vehicle.
er, riiiiight honey.

Yeah... I remember that 10 years ago there was some motel room in Tillamook that had 40-something California RVs registered to it.

That's why when we moved up to Washington we kept our plates longer then we should have.... No, actually its not too bad here, its California that seriously gouges people on registration fees.

I believe I pay about $70 annually for registration, including a vanity plate. My plate also is affiliated with local animal shelters and part of what I pay is an annual donation to them. Not terrible.

Ugh, I think our rates are similar to what Meauxna posted if you just go with the standard. Of course you'd have to live in Ohio.
