There's something sadly ironic in the fact that John Lennon spent a good part of the 70's telling everyone how wonderful the US was, and what a complete sh*thole he thought the UK was, and yet at the same time the US government was trying to have him thrown out.

If if loved it so much, then why on earth would they want to have him deported? Hmmm, the plot thickens...

John Lennon protested against war through non-violence. I think there's a lesson there for everyone. He was following in the footsteps of Ghandi.
