Default US to end pre-departure test requirement

Looks like President Biden is about to relex the entry requirements to remove the pre-departure test before flying to the US. Seems that non-citizen/Green Card holders will still need to be vaccinated:

Good. I am going for a weekend trip to Europe and it was going to be a pain in the butt.

This will at last free me up for a trip to the UK, as neither I nor Mrs P could risk catching covid and then being caught in the UK pending a negative virus test and unable to return to the US for work; also little Miss P with respect to the risk of her missing school.

Same here....we have been holding off for a trip to Europe in September. Now we'll start booking......

Watch the fares go up even more now. Tickets I got in March, for September, have doubled in price.
