Default US to charge for ESTA

How long before this starts to go up at the same rate as the passport costs.

All fees are going up. And the increase from what I've seen is quite large.

This only good thing that I can see about this is that it might help to stop kids going to the US on a whim - a psychology thing, whereby if they have to paty for it it must be official/important.

Feel free to tell me that was utter crap.

They were always going to charge for it though, this not charging thing was temporary while they were rolling it all out.
