Reading some more details this morning

Things to note:
- the USCIS has been keeping a list of couples who filed a petition and are working through that list officially starting this week but someone pressed the button too soon, no need to re-file
- the couple in the story live in FL a state that does not recognize their marriage in NY (and FL has a constitutional ban) but that does not seem to have mattered
- I am guessing that a lot of these early cases will be like the couple featured, adjusting status from being a student for 15 years, it might be a while until CR1 and K1 petitions make it through the system
