Default Uk taxes for a dual citizen living in the us

Hello. I am a dual citizen: a US citizen and a British citizen by descent. I just recently realized this as an adult and applied for a UK passport. I have received it. I did not think about this... do I now have to pay UK taxes on income ive made in the US? I've never lived in the UK.

No, UK taxation is based on domicile, not worldwide income like the US. In any case there is a tax treaty between the US and the UK which prevents dual taxation.

United Kingdom income taxation is generally based on residence. Non-residents normally only pay UK tax on UK-source income.
