MoneySavingExpert - alternative in US?
Hi all, I use MoneySavingExpert.com almost constantly while in the UK and wondered if there is anything similar in America, specifically California?
I'm trying to compare banks, phones, utilities, supermarkets etc so a one stop site which could help me make the best choices would be awesome!
Or, if an independent consumer advice site for everything financial dorsn't exist, do you know if there are any single subject sites I could use?
Ta!

I haven't found anything that covers the whole spectrum. Here in Texas we have powertochoose.com for power, jdpower.com which is a bit like 'Which' (I think it might be national), I have used angieslist for local stuff and bankrate.com when looking at bank rates.

dealnews.com does a fairly good job of consolidating a wide range of deals on consumer products, updated day by day.
evreward.com shows all the best online rebates and airline mile earning opportunities for all of the major retailers. There is seldom anything you can buy online without earning an extra kickback of some sort, so I make sure I visit these sites whenever I need to buy anything.

Bankrate.com is quite good for comparing credit cards, etc. for financial items.
Nextag and pricegrabber provides price comparisons quite well.
