Default Top of the day to yer!

Going back to blighto next week for time in nearly 3 years, taking the missus over to Dublin for a few days. Never been to Ireland, so is there any "must see's" in and around Dublin?

If anyone wants some proper beer and sausage bought back, better put your orders in now!

Seriously, apart from the Temple Bar and the University I think Dublin is a bit of a shithole.

Go to the station (Housten??) and get on a 1 hour train ride to Kilkenny for the day. It's a pleasant town not too far from Dublin and won't coat an arm and a leg.

Have a great time

Seconded. Kilkenny is an excellent place. Great lock-ins too.

You will probably hear more American voices in Dublin than you do in the US.

The Guinness Storehouse is a must... fascinating building and exhibits, and great views over Dublin to be had while sipping a pint of Guinness.
