Thumbs up telephone calls

has anyone any ideas on this one. firstly from this news group i found out about telediscount.co.uk this has helped me to reduce my phone from £300 per month to something more realistic.

my question is is there a similar company in the US for my girlfriend to use, so she can call from her mobile<cell> phone to mine here in the UK. at the moment a 2 way cell call is costing 3p per minute.

any ideas?

Wrong forum for a start, should ask in the US lifestyle, but I can't move it...

And would be cheaper if got a calling card, and why use a mobile?
Also, 3p a min, that's a bargain.

Lingo.com has a VOIP solution that gives unlimited in the USA and western europe for 19.99 a month for ten bucks more you can get a london number so those in the UK can call you from that.
