Oh no, hold on, how foolish of me, the OXO cube could contain the big bad BSE (which the US has anyway and is just in denial about it).

Just thought I would update everyone (i know you have all been waiting for it
). I have found the US version of the classic stock cube. I have purchased both Chicken and Beef varieties. I have also purchased some proper tomato puree in a tube. Thank-god for HEB Central Market; it's a nice place with a great bakery, butcher, fishmonger etc etc. It's a bit pricey, but that's a technicality.

LOL dont you mean "Oi". It's even worse though I'm afraid, I'm in the lab right now doing some work and trying to solve the puzzle that is type 2 diabetes all by myself! Thanks for the concern though.
