HOW LONG FROM START TO FINISH DOES A SPOUSE VISA TAKE IF HUSBAND FILES FOR WIFE WHEN SHE IS IN THE UK AND HE IS IN THE USA ?????????

The answer to your question is not simple to answer in that the timeframe depends on the US Service Center you will be filing the I-130 with. We have an US/UK couple in just your situation and they are still waiting to hear from the service center 6 months later with no end in sight.
All in all, figure on at least one year if you are a US citizen.

Be 1 year tomorrow (June 23) since TSC recieved our petition and only 1st NOA

I had it confirmed to me yesterday that yes, Dallas was taking up to a year to do
their's. The nice lady at INS did say that the K visas will make life easier.
Trouble is those were supposed to be in place by May and the latest scuttlebutt on
that is August. 'Course the thing on that is you still have to get THAT one
processed and wonder how long that would be?
