Actually I've been through the process 5 times, I just thought that the terminology used my ian-mstm ("Further, an employer can *not* decide what documents are acceptable to meet the I-9 requirements... that is entirely up to the employee.") was a little confusing.

I see. It would be stronger if he wrote "Further, an employer can *not* decide what List A, B, C documents are acceptable to meet the I-9 requirements... that is entirely up to the employee."

I was told I would recieve my SS# in 7-10 business days got it in mail in 4 days after entering. :-)

Oops , I meant to write entering information with SSA other words aplying for SSN. Sorry. No Rene you are right I didn't come on immigrant visa.
