There's probably a wrestling match going on of sorts; the Pope is needed by Gawd's flock here and Gawd wants him up top. Didn't that kind of thing happen in the OT? Some say we live our lives in the blink of an astro-eye, and eternity follows.

Can we look forward to a new TV reality series, Popestars, where Cardinals compete for the Pontiffs post, judged, say, on their sermons. I really hope there is a Cardinal called Yethe Sailor, then if a space was put in the wrong place he would be Popeye the Sailor. I'd vote for him.

presentation (their appearance in Pope clothing including a sashay down a catwalk)
language abilities (extra marks for spoken Latin)
reaction speed (mental and physical, e.g. avoid assasination attempts)

Screw that. I say remake Trading Spouses into Trading Beliefs.

Get deeply religious people and throw them in with other religions so they can experience what other people believe. A little education would help some.

Wiccans trade with Baptists
Catholics trade with mormons (no families with children allowed for safety )

I just hope the next one isn't a Roman Catholic like all the others. Why can't they pick a Jewish or Moslem Pope or even an Anglican. Its not very supportive of a multi-cultural society in this day and age is it?

Or are they saying Vatican city isn't multi-cultural - yet they let funnily dressed Swiss people in
