Beth

I have not been on this site that much lately but I just wanted to stop in and say how great it is that things have taken a 180 degree turn for you. It's very inspirational the way you turned a difficult situation around.I wish you all the best back in the UK and I believe it will be a extra blessing to be back with your family.

Please do update us on how things are going after you've settled in.It may not be easy at first but one thing you have shown to your self is how tough a woman you really are:thumbsup:.

PS,Heck, you should write a book of your experiences it would inspire many many people!

First of all, sorry ive been unable to post for a few days, unfortunately i got a little sick on Monday (did a bit too much) i'm now feeling much better and overjoyed to tell you my flight is finally booked and i leave for the UK next week (Friday 30th Jan) 8days to go and counting, Yipeeeeeeee

I was a little nervous to say the least when i made that 1st phone call last Sunday (midnight) Had stayed up the whole night long, and as exhausted as i was, it was certainly worthwhile. However, there's been a change since my last post. My mum has called me on Tuesday, and as stated previously i had not wanted to impose and she had no idea of my plans. Unfortunately she's had quite a lot health issues and problems of her own, so the last thing she needed was mine!! On the contrary she gave me a good telling off that i'd kept it from her, which was followed by her insistence that i went to stay with her. In fact i had no choice....she said she'd hunt me down if i didnt. LOL.

I did admit on an earlier post, pride was one of my biggest downfalls, but after speaking with mum, pride had to go on the back burner (just for a little while) ;) She has even arranged transport (a friend of her's has offered to drive) and she is going to meet me at the airport....isnt that just the best news ever!!!! Woooohoooo i am soooooo excited i cant type this post fast enough lol. I havent seen her in 6yrs....so next Friday cant come fast enough.....i'm finally GOING HOME!!!

It's now 4.45 in the morning, and have another busy day tomorrow, so i must sign off and get some rest. As soon as i can get access to a computer i'l be back to let you all know how things are progressing :) Still cant believe its really happening, but yipeeee it is

At 1pm Friday Jan 30th, i'l be on a plane heading home to England (with i promise the biggest smile EVER) i just couldn't wait to share this with you :)

Take care everyone
Love and lots of (((hugs)))
Beth

Excellent - Flea and myself are trying to get a list/register of people that may in whatever form it takes, be able to offer help to other women in this situation.

How are you doing Lynne? Havent seen you on here in ages?

Oh my good god almighty!

I only just stumbled upon this thread, BETH why didn't you speak up sooner!!! Surely someone living in your area that posts in her could have helped you!

You are one of the most courageous women I've ever met (cyber met), I can't believe that horrible man could treat you like an animal?

Your struggle will be strength to others, to think what you've gone through alone and not physically strong, I'm truly in awe I really think you're magnificent.

I knew your mam would take care of you, if she brought you up to be so tough she'd have to be a trooper herself!

If I can be of any help at all, please do not hesitate to ask, even the slightest thing.

Wish you all the luck in the world, hang on in there....nearly home.

I am always amazed at the cruelty of people that can cause such pain, desperation and suffering in others.:( Beth, you deserve no less than the very best in life and just from the little I have garnered here, I know you will go from strength to strength. My wish for you is that these past few years in your life become a distant memory as you move forward toward happier and prosperous times. I believe the man that has caused you so much pain will in turn have his own share. Life has a habit of correcting the balance.

Safe journey, and my very best wishes to you. Pam.

Thats a brilliant thing that you and Flea are doing. Well you can put me on the list. Like I said I will try to help in any shape or form.

We are all fine back here in cold, cold UK :(. Still got jobs - just!! Looking ever so bleak but just have to get on and hope for the best.
I do pop in now and again to BE but just to have a look and see what everyone is up to. Its brilliant to see so many are having a ball over in Oz...long may it continue
