A very dull thread, I'm sorry, but I just wondered if anyone has good advice about recommending a good shipping company? We've been quoted $13,600 from Wrigeways (40ft container - taking back a boat). Does this sound reasonable, good, bad or average? Would really appreciate any advice. Cheers!

We have been quoted just under $11k for a 40ft back to SE London from Kents and thats with them coming down to Bunbury for 3 days to pack and load.
Have given my notice at work, hopefully the house will go unconditional next week then we can book flights for end on June.

Thanks Kev - I will try Kents - they do sound cheaper. Best of luck with your house sale (ours went in 2 weeks of being advertised). We're leaving at the end of June too. Hope things go really well for you!

We have an offer from some police officers that are relocating, so hopefully the finance should be good.
We are going to Queensland for a couple of weeks anyway and then going HOME, if this sale falls through we will rent the house out and see what happens.
