Default seattle??????

Hi
You helped me in the past with great advice when I visited Seattle with my baby and hubby. (I am in Vancouver, BC)
This time, I am visiting with 3 girlfriends, so any advice on hotels, done searches, seem pretty expensive in March. Want to be central.
Also need advice on where the best bars etc are as we will be there for st paddys.
Thanks!!!

I lived in the Holiday Inn Express by the Space Needle for six months last year. Comfortable and reasonably priced for Seattle. Bit of a walk from downtown but there's some nice bars and restaurants within a few blocks.

I always stay at the Red Lion Hotel on 5th ave. It has an English pub downstairs that does the best fish and chips... yum
