I can certainly show them the pictures of both my kids covered head to toe in chicken pox when you did it, did you get the missing vaccines in UK or USA? thanks

Florida uses the CDC guidelines
https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/schedul...ead/index.html

Write them all down and then use the link I gave before to make sure that each child has had the required doses.

The school nurse in Florida will also probably do it so I wouldn't worry too much.

I also WOULD NOT miss any of the vaccines. Relying on other children's immunisation levels to protect your family is not a good idea.
I have got printout from my gp of immunisation history so I will take your advice. thanks

Both. We got what we could before we left, and the pediatrician gave the rest. With pox, just get the gp to sign off on it and that should be good. We had it in the notes because she needed treatment for a few infected spots so that came in handy.

Also, if you're leaving in 9 weeks, you'll have the summer to get it taken care of. Most schools finish at the end of May.

A titre test would do the trick, if the school won't accept a letter from your GP.

It should possibly be covered as part of your annual physical if you get a PCP over here, who might want to do the test to see what you are covered for their own records.

I don't think they bother if the parents say the kids had chicken pox. Even for our green card medical, the dr accepted this one.

Some school districts are more of a pain about things though. So it's an option, to getting it done without cost.

Isn't there a test you can take to see if you have had the pox? If you have had it, then be sure to get the vaccine against shingles. Thankfully, I've never had chicken pox.
