Default quick passport advice

Folks - LPR living in SoCal - just booked a trip to Costa Rica for July. Suddenly had a nasty feeling my passport might be expiring soon - yep, at the end of this month!! Can I get a new one in time for my trip? What's the best way forward for a quick turnaround?
thanks in advance,
Matt

Plenty of time. Turnaround times are usually two weeks or less from the US.

Renewed mine recently and it took five days, including me couriering it to UK, them processing it and couriering it it back, so you should have plenty of time.

send the passport using fedex or UPS, choosing fast delivery options.

terrific - thanks everyone - I just did the online renewal system, and WOW, that was fantastic. What a breath of fresh air vs. my last renewal 10yrs ago. Even able to take and upload the photo in a few minutes. Just need to mail in the old passport now. Thanks again!!

Don't waste your money on a courier - I sent mine off in a flat rate Priority Mail envelope for $34 and had my passport back in two weeks.
