Default Question on tax form 2555 EZ

Hi there!

I just have a quick question about tax form 2555 EZ. In Part II where it asks for general information it asks for employers name and address. Does this mean the current name and address of your employer or the one which you had in 2012 for which you are filing the taxes for? Also what should you put if you had 2 different employers in 2012?

Many thanks for your help!
Annie

Hi Annie,

I moved your post into the General USA forum, where there are many tax-related discussions.

It's the employer who paid you the foreign income you have on the form. If you have more than one foreign employer I think you have to use more than one form.

The employer who paid you in 2012.

You need to file two forms... which also means you can't e-file.
