Prince Harry's new Job - what visa ?
#47

Seeing Harry's drivers license or car license plates would be a telltale if he's here on some kind of diplomatic visa.

His recent travel could also give clues to his status, as only certain status would allow him to travel back directly:

assuming he flies commercial, which immigration line he uses may also give clue, unless they have a VIP suite like at LHR they could send him though..

Between the multiple jobs and him being cut off financially, unless he has some special off the books status I can’t really see that he could be anything other than PR now.

I think he could easily get an O, but I can’t see how that would cover his job and other projects at the same time, I think you can use it for multiple roles if an agent is the petitioner and then has contracts for all the underlying roles, maybe with the right lawyer it’s possible… but I don’t think it would help with tax, as he would still become tax resident when he passed the substantial presence test so a GC would still be much easier and lower risk as he is married to a USC and would also make travel easier under CV19, and give him the freedom to do almost any kind of paid work without an agent to generate a paper trail.

What interests me more is that his kids are dual citizens and yet he’s reluctant to upset the Family by naturalizing.

If he ever is. We don't know what avenue he used to legally reside in the US. Is he a diplomat, or has legal permanent resident status?

I presume he is using a diplomatic visa, because I think it would be more advantageous to him. If he is on a spouse visa he could apply now. They have stated they moved to the US from Canada well before it was announced. I wonder if his royal status (from birth) prevents him from holding another citizenship.
